New Sunderland owner Stewart Donald has told talkSPORT he hopes to announce the club's new manager within hours - but has ruled out a return for Chris Coleman.
Former Wales boss Coleman left the club in April following the Black Cats' relegation to League One.
Donald had suggested a route back for Coleman as he hunts for a new boss to take on the challange at the Stadium of Light;.
But, speaking exclusively to Jim White on Wednesday, the former Eastleigh chairman revealed he has agreed terms with the club's new boss and hopes to be able to make an announcement by the end of the day.
