Sunderland manager David Moyes set for one-game touchline ban over misconduct charge following EFL Cup dismissal at Southampton

David Moyes is set to serve a one-game touchline ban when Sunderland travel to Bournemouth this weekend, Sportsmail understands.

The Black Cats boss is likely to accept an FA charge of misconduct after he was sent off during his side's 1-0 defeat at Southampton in the fourth round of the EFL Cup last Wednesday.

And because of the nature of the offence - Moyes admitted swearing at the fourth official - that will mean one match in the stands as well as a fine for the 53-year-old.
