Sunderland manager Chris Coleman pins problems on chairman Ellis Short and wants new owner with 'new ideas'

Chris Coleman believes Sunderland is being damaged by chairman Ellis Short's continued desire to sell the club and says the problems won't be resolved until they have a new owner.

The Black Cats are battling for their lives in the Championship and face a key clash against fellow relegation candidates Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday evening.

While Coleman will be readying his players for the must-win match, he saw fit to take a shot at current owner Short, saying the insidious atmosphere around the Stadium of Light has been caused by his lack of love for the club.
