David Moyes will not face questions from the BBC reporter he threatened to slap when Sunderland face Manchester United this weekend.
Sportsmail understands Vicki Sparks will be covering Manchester City versus Hull on Saturday and will not be at the Stadium of Light 24 hours later.
Moyes has until Friday to submit his written observations to the FA after Sunderland asked for an extension to Thursday's deadline. The governing body will then decide if misconduct charges are to be brought.
If so - as is almost certain - then Moyes must decide if he is to accept or contest the charges.
