Sunderland boss Chris Coleman insists Didier Ndong will not leave on loan in January with West Ham and Watford circling: 'They must think we have fallen off the back of a lorry!'

Sunderland boss Chris Coleman has insisted that club-record signing Didier Ndong will not be leaving the club on a loan deal this window.

The 23-year-old cost Sunderland £13.6million when he joined from Lorient but Watford and West Ham will be hoping to prise him away for around £8m.

The Gabon international has barely figured this season and last played in the 1-1 draw with Brimingham over a month ago.
