The Tony Mowbray finishing school for young footballing talent is flourishing once again.
Two seasons ago, as Blackburn manager, Mowbray helped polish Harvey Elliott into a midfielder capable of establishing himself in the first team at Liverpool.
Last term, it was Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke who finished the campaign as Blackburn's Player of the Season on Mowbray's watch.
Having taken over at Sunderland, Mowbray finds himself presiding over another squad packed with young talent, with loan players from some of the leading clubs in the land, and in Amad Diallo and Ellis Simms, he is confident he is managing two players will go on to star at the highest level.
