Sunderland 0-0 Burnley: Black Cats remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League after being held at home by Sean Dyche's Clarets

Sunderland's fight to stay in the Premier League took another blow as they were held to a draw by Burnley.

The visiting Clarets had the best chance of the first half, Ashley Barnes guiding Scott Arfield's mis-hit wide when in clear space six yards out.

The hosts improved after the break, but could not score, full back Billy Jones shanking the best chance wide following a counter attack.
