Roy Keane slams Sunderland's dire defending during FA Cup defeat by Newcastle - calling their decision making 'MADNESS' - and insists 'you do NOT try to beat a man on the edge of your box'

Roy Keane has hit out at Sunderland's poor defending during their 3-0 defeat to Newcastle on Saturday, branding their decision making as 'madness'.

Eddie Howe's side secured bragging rights over their fierce rivals during their FA third-round tie at the Stadium of Light in what was a tough afternoon for the Black Cats with several defensive errors costing them during the game.

The visitors took the lead after 35 minutes, with Joelinton delivering a fiery ball into the Sunderland penalty area, only for it to be turned in by Daniel Ballard for an own goal.
