Newcastle breezed past rivals Sunderland in the Wear-Tyne derby at the Stadium of Light to book their spot in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Less than one minute after the second half, Newcastle added their second goal as Alexander Isak slotted home into an empty net after an earlier Sunderland own goal.

The striker then added his second from the penalty spot after a clumsy challenge from Ballard brought down Anthony Gordon.
