Sunderland have parted company with boss Lee Johnson in the wake of Saturday's 6-0 League One defeat at Bolton.
Johnson, 40, who arrived at the Stadium of Light in December 2020, has left along with assistant head coach Jamie McAllister.
Sunderland are third in League One, two points off top spot.
