Hibernian sack under-fire manager Jack Ross after Easter Road side fell to their seventh defeat in nine league games at Livingston

Hibernian have parted ways with manager Jack Ross following Wednesday night's defeat by Livingston.

The 1-0 loss leaves the Easter Road club seventh after just one win - and seven defeats - in nine league games.

Ross has previously managed Alloa, St Mirren and Sunderland.

The beleaguered Easter Road side lost 1-0 courtesy of Jack McMillan's first-half goal on a night when they had defenders Paul McGinn and Paul Hanlon sent off for second bookable offences in the closing five minutes.
