Sunderland have announced the signing of former England defender Joleon Lescott on a short-term contract.
David Moyes once again turned to one of his Everton old boys as the 34-year-old becomes his latest recruit to held dig the Black Cats out of trouble.
Lescott has been training with the Wearside club in recent days following his release by Greek side AEK Athens in November.
And has now followed fellow former Toffees stars Victor Anichebe and Steven Pienaar to the Stadium of Light, after signing a contract until the end of the campaign.
