David Moyes is in no immediate danger of losing his job as Sunderland manager despite the dreadful start to his tenure at the Stadium of Light, according to reports.
The Black Cats, who are still without a win from their opening eight games, were left rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to fellow strugglers Stoke City.
Angry from another poor start to the season, many Sunderland fans have called for the Scot to resign, while Moyes is the hot favourite with bookmakers to be the next top-flight manager to lose his job.
