David Moyes is still without a Premier League win as Sunderland manager after his side collapsed from a two-goal lead to lose 3-2 at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Jermain Defoe once again showed his supreme scoring touch, twice finishing in style to put Sunderland two ahead. A minute after Defoe's second goal, however, it got a great deal worse as Palace reduced the deficit. Joe Ledley, whose atrocious pass had given Defoe the chance to open the scoring against the run of play, saw a shot deflected by Patrick van Aanholt past Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
