Chelsea 5-1 Sunderland: Champions fight back to show class in emphatic win and give John Terry fitting send off as club legend is given guard of honour in 26th minute

John Terry was given a fitting farewell as Chelsea came from behind to win at Stamford Bridge and the club legend was given a guard of honour in a pre-planned substitution on the 26th minute.

The start did not go according to plan for Chelsea as Javier Manquillo latched onto a deflected Sebastian Larsson free-kick to put the visitors ahead in the third minute.

Six minutes later the champions were on level terms as Willian fired past Jordan Pickford on the angle after picking up David Luiz's pass wide on the right. Terry's emotional farewell came in the 26th minute, his shirt number, as the Blues players gave the captain a guard of honour before he was substituted by Gary Cahill.
