The Carabao Cup first round draw took place on Friday.
Newly-relegated Sunderland were among 70 clubs in the draw, with Hull and Middlesbrough, who also dropped out of the Premier League last season, among those joining the competition in round two.
The draw was regionalised to minimise travelling time for supporters in the first round, with seeding decided by a club’s finishing position in the EFL last season.
It was held in Thailand, the home of the competition's sponsor, Carabao Energy Drink.
