Bradley Lowery had a huge smile on his face as he got to hang out with best friend Jermain Defoe on Thursday after having to cancel their planned meeting on Wednesday because he didn't wan his her to 'see him poorly'.
The five-year-old has captured the hearts of the football world during his brave battle against a rare form of cancer, neuroblastoma, with Defoe playing a particularly prominent role in helping Bradley and his family in their time of need.
The youngster joined his favourite player and 'best mate' to lead out the England team in their victory over Lithuania on Sunday, but three days later was sadly too ill to take a visit from his friend.
