UCF is still the only G5 team to crack SB Nation’s FanPulse Poll

Week 1 is in the books and despite some wins over quality Power Five programs, the Group of Five is still not getting the love it deserves in the latest SB Nation FanPulse Poll.

The UCF Knights are still the only P6 - excuse me, I meant G5 - team to make the list, remaining at No. 16 in the rankings. In comparison to the nationally recognized polls, UCF remained at No. 17 in the Coaches Poll, and inexcusably dropped one spot in the AP Top 25 to No. 18.

Impressive wins by Boise State, Cincinnati and Memphis over P5 opponents weren’t enough to crack the FanPulse Poll.
