Chunxi Guo, Troy (Fr., Chengdu, China)
Troy freshman Chunxi Guo clinched two victories for the Trojans over New Orleans and Nicholls with her wins at No. 4 singles. Guo defeated Salma Abdelrahim of New Orleans 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 and Lingfeng Gu of Nicholls 6-3, 7-6. In doubles, she picked up a pair of 6-0 shutouts with sophomore Pei Ju Hsieh at the No. 2 spot. Guo upped her spring records to 4-3 in singles and 7-0 in doubles with Hsieh.
