NEW ORLEANS – Troy sophomore point guard Cooper Campbell has been named the first Sun Belt Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week of the 2025-26 season after leading the Trojans to a 2-0 record with a pair of road wins during the season’s first week of games.
Campbell becomes the first Troy men’s basketball player to earn the Sun Belt’s top weekly honor since Tayton Conerway on Jan. 7, 2025.
Campbell averaged 20 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.0 steals in 35 minutes per game while shooting 14-for-23 (.608) from the floor and 8-for-14 (.
