CONWAY, S.C. – Sixth-seeded Troy dominated the middle innings en route to a 10-7 victory over No. 8 Louisiana in a Sun Belt Conference Tournament elimination baseball game on Thursday morning at Springs Brooks Stadium.
The Trojans (30-28) belted four home runs in the contest and have defeated the Ragin’ Cajuns (28-31) in three out of the four meetings this season.
Levi Thomas posted a stellar outing to earn his eighth win of the season (8-2) delivering seven innings with seven strikeouts. Thomas gave up three runs on four hits with only one walk.
