Bobcats senior right-handed pitcher Zachary Leigh threw his first career complete game in Thursday’s 2-0 series-opening win over UTA. The Victoria, Texas, native struck out seven, while allowing just three hits and one walk in the 113-pitch outing. Leigh is the first Texas State hurler to throw a complete game since Hunter McMahon on April 27, 2019 at Louisiana and the first to go the distance in a shutout since Lucas Humpal on March 4, 2016 against Incarnate Word.
