The Sun Belt Conference placed six punters on the final candidate list for the 2018 Ray Guy Award. The award identifies the nation's top FBS collegiate punter at The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN every year in December.
Representing the Sun Belt are:

Clayton Howell, Appalachian State
Cody Grace, Arkansas State
Corliss Waitman, South Alabama
Jared Porter, ULM
Tyler Sumpter, Troy
The list will be narrowed down to ten semifinalists to be announced on Thursday, November 15th. Following the announcement, a national voting body of FBS SIDs, media representatives and previous Ray Guy Award winners will vote for the three finalists who will be identified on Tuesday, November 20th.
