NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference and the College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation are joining forces once again to recognize teachers via the Extra Yard for Teachers (EYFT) initiative throughout the 2019 football season.
Each of the 10 Sun Belt football-playing institutions is receiving a $10,000 grant from the CFP Foundation to use in their respective local communities to recognize teachers for their hard work and dedication and provide classroom supplies and resources.
In addition, Sun Belt institutions will recognize teachers at football games during Extra Yard for Teachers Week (Sept. 14-21) on their respective campuses via pregame and in-game presentations on the field and video boards as well as during live broadcasts on the ESPN family of networks.
