Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Mason Patel, Georgia State

Georgia State true freshman right-hander Mason Patel was outstanding in a midweek start at No. 10 Georgia Tech, leading the Panthers to a 10-1 victory and their fourth win of the season over a nationally-ranked opponent. Making just his second start, Patel pitched six scoreless innings and struck out eight, the most strikeouts for a GSU freshman since 2013. Patel allowed four hits, all singles, and walked only one.
