Following a 2020 season that was anything but normal due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Conference USA fans, coaches, and players alike are hoping for a return to normalcy in 2021. With less than a month till the start of spring practices across the league, let’s take a look at some of the major storylines as teams hit the field.
Quarterback Competitions
Entering last offseason, over half of the league’s teams began spring practice without a clear-cut answer as to who would be their starting quarterback. Fast forward to 2021 and not much has changed. Outside of Marshall’s Grant Wells and UTSA’s Frank Harris, an argument can be made that the other 12 conference teams have unanswered questions.
