Golden Eagles redshirt senior quarterback Braylon Braxton completed 18-of-23 passes for 248 yards and four touchdowns in Southern Miss’ 49-21 homecoming win over ULM. The Frisco, Texas, native led Southern Miss to their fourth-straight victory, the program’s longest winning streak since 2015. Braxton, who has thrown a touchdown pass in all eight games this season including seven multi-touchdown efforts, also rushed for 20 yards on 11 carries.
