South Alabama junior outfielder Brittani Reid had an outstanding week at the plate, going 9-for-18 (.500) with two doubles, three walks, three steals and seven runs scored from the leadoff position to help the Jaguars to a 4-1 record at the Mardi Gras Invitational. Reid posted a .611 slugging percentage and a .571 on-base percentage in six games played. She began her week by reaching base twice in three plate appearances at No. 1 Florida State. To open the Mardi Gras Invitational, Reid was a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and two runs scored in an 8-0, run-rule victory over Stephen F.
