South Alabama Wins Women's Golf Championship; Ofstedahl Takes Medalist Honors

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The South Alabama Jaguars won its second Sun Belt Women's Golf Championship with a 54-hole score of 877 (+13) at the LPGA International Hills Course. The title is the first for the program since 1997 and gives the Jaguars the Sun Belt's automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals.

The Jaguars, for the second consecutive round, shot the best round of the day, a four-over 292, to claim the team title by three strokes.

Texas State was the runner-up at 880 (+16). Georgia Southern was third with a final score of 882 (+18), and Troy was fourth at 886 (+22).
