NEW ORLEANS – Six Sun Belt Conference student-athletes were named to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division I Cross Country/Track & Field teams, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
On the men’s side, Louisiana’s Zachary Lewis was named to the second team, while South Alabama’s Sean Collins and Troy’s Daniel Glick were both named to third team.
Appalachian State’s Emily Fedders and Georgia State’s Lotte Meyberg earned first team honors on the list of female student-athletes, while Meyberg’s teammate Angelo Alonso.
Lewis competed in both the shot put and discus for Louisiana, ranking 10th overall in the Sun Belt Conference in the shot put (52-10 ¼).
