Second half surge catapults Arkansas State past Texas State

A Louisiana win turned Arkansas State’s matchup against Texas State into a game of pride instead of a championship game clinching opportunity. And pride they showed as they crushed the Bobcats 30-7.

Justice Hansen threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns on a very efficient 18/24 night and running back Warren Wand ran for 145 yards and a touchdown for the Red Wolves.

Wand ran from 8 yards out to put the Red Wolves in front 7-0 as the first half ended in a defensive struggle.

Bobcat running back Alec Harris turned his first carry of his collegiate career into a 57 yard touchdown run to tie up the game.
