NEW ORLEANS – UL Lafayette senior pole vaulter, Morgann Leleux, set a both a school and LSU Bernie Moore Stadium Track record in the women’s pole vault last weekend in Baton Rouge and was named this week’s Women’s Field Student-Athlete of the Week for her efforts.
Leleux cleared the bar at 14'9.5" to claim first-place honors at the LSU Alumni Gold meet. Her clearance is the best in the Sun Belt this season, third in the NCAA East Preliminary and fourth overall nationally. The previous record holder was also Leleux which she broke during her freshman year.
