NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana redshirt freshman forward Carson Glenn and South Alabama redshirt senior goalkeeper Sierra Giorgio earned Sun Belt Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week honors following the season’s sixth week of league matches.
Glenn becomes the first Ragin’ Cajun to earn Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week since Una Einarsdottir on Oct. 21, 2020. Giorgio becomes the first South Alabama goalkeeper to be named Defensive Player of the Week since Jaidy Gutierrez Campos on Sept. 28, 2021.
