NEW ORLEANS — Little Rock’s Anton Albers and Arkansas State’s Julien Sale were named to the 2021 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division I PING All-Region Teams.
Albers posted a 72.66 scoring average across 29 rounds. The Buchholz, Germany, native averaged 1.14 strokes over par and had two tournament wins during the 2020-21 campaign. After helping the Trojans advance to the NCAA final site for the first time in program history with a fifth-place finish at the Stillwater Regional, Albers concluded the year as the No. 132-ranked player in NCAA Division I.
