GSU Notches 30th Win; Takes Series Versus Georgia Southern
ATLANTA – Senior Taylor Anderson played her final two games at the Bob Heck Softball Complex Sunday, helping the Panthers to a 4-2 win in Game 1 and launching a home run in the 4-3 Game 2 loss against rival Georgia Southern.
Fellow senior Katie Worley got the start in the circle in Game 1 and went four innings while allowing three hits and two runs. Worley matched last season's win total, improving to 14-9 on the year. Junior Kensey Caldwell provided the run support with a 2-for-2 day at the plate that included her 16th double and two RBI.
