2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America® NCAA Division I Softball Teams

ATLANTA - One week after being named a first-team All-America for her play on the field, Georgia State softball standout Ivie Drake is a first-team member of the 2018 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division I Softball Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Teammate Brenna Skalski earned second-team honors on the Google Cloud Academic All-America® Softball Team.

Drake, the record-setting catcher who was tabbed to the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) All-America first team, is one of just three softball student-athletes in the nation to earn first-team All-America honors on the field and in the classroom, along with Florida pitcher Kelly Barnhill and Oklahoma State third baseman Vanessa Shippy.
