While Georgia Southern the last few years has gotten off to some slow starts to begin the 2019 and 2020 campaigns, this season feels different.
And not in a good way.
Both of those teams had strong leadership, especially at the quarterback position, and it always felt like the Eagles were playing down early in the season in those years but would pick it back up when it mattered.
