Week 1 of the FCS slate was a fun one for fans across the country and this weekend should produce more of the same. From playoff grudge matches to rivalry games, there’s plenty on the docket this week. The Big Sky sees some significant games as does the Missouri Valley. Jackson State again takes the main stage with another big time HBCU showdown. Week 2 is here.
Playoff Rematches Highlight Slate
There will be a couple playoff grudge matches this weekend and it all gets started on Thursday night. The only FCS game on Thursday evening will also be the only one between two Top 25 teams this week as #14 UT Martin (1-0) travels to Springfield to take on #5 Missouri State (1-0).
