With only a few days to go until the early signing period begins, New Mexico State currently has 13 players verbally committed to the 2019 class.
Like usual, the incoming class is a strong mix of high school seniors and junior college players ready to play Division 1 football, with one exception.
That would be Baylor graduate transfer Tony Nicholson. A 5’9”, 190 pound speedster, Nicholson will definitely come in and contribute next year as he has experience playing for a P5 school (277 yards on 31 catches in 2017).
The rest of the class is heavy on wide receivers, offensive lineman and linebackers—areas that are losing the most players this year.
