NEW ORLEANS - The Sun Belt Conference announced its softball weekly honors on Tuesday. Coastal Carolina’s Kayla Rosado picked up the Player of the Week award, while Texas State’s Meagan King earned the Pitcher of the Week nod.

Rosado made sure her bat still talked despite snapping a 10-game hitting streak last week. The Iradell, New Jersey, native hit safely in 5-of-6 games and helped Coastal Carolina extend its winning streak to seven games with victories over Campbell and UTA.
