CHICAGO – Coastal Carolina fought back from an 11-point, second-half deficit but it was not enough as the Chanticleers fell 92-87 to host DePaul in the semifinals of the 2019 Roman College Basketball Invitational.
Zac Cuthbertson lead four Coastal Carolina players in double figures with 21 points. DeVante Jones contributed 16 points and seven assists to along with 14 points from Ebrima Dibba and 13 points from Tyrell Gumbs-Frater.
The Chanticleers close out the season at 17-17 overall and 9-9 in Sun Belt play.
