Cincinnati signs highest rated prospect in the AAC with 4-star TE Leonard Taylor

Cincinnati signed the best recruiting class in the Group of Five and it comes at a time when the Bearcats absolutely needed it. After going 4-8 in Luke Fickell’s debut season, the Bearcats tore it up on the recruiting trail by signing some of Ohio’s best prospects.

According to 247 Sports, no one was more touted than 4-star tight end Leonard Taylor out of Springfield, Ohio. Taylor received serious interest from Kentucky, Louisville, and Texas A&M before staying home and becoming a Bearcat.

Last year’s starting tight end Tyler Cogswell has graduated and with only two players seeing limited playing time at the position last year, it’s not inconceivable for Taylor to rise up the depth chart and receive playing time.
