SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Arkansas State men and Texas State women took home the 2018 Sun Belt Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship team titles on Sunday at Bobcat Track and Field Stadium on the campus of Texas State.
The Red Wolves entered the final day of competition in third place, trailing leader Texas State by nine points. Led by sprinters Jaylen Bacon and Elijah Ross, the Red Wolves picked up 116 points on Sunday, to total 159 and pass the Bobcats by 28 points.
Bacon won the 100- and 200-meter races - both with very fast times.
