College Football Playoff Rankings
IRVING, Texas – Appalachian State's historic football season continued as the Mountaineers moved up to 21st in the Dec. 3 release of the College Football Playoff Top 25 Rankings.
The Mountaineers are in the CFP rankings for the fourth-straight week, ranking 25th on Nov. 12 and Nov. 26 and 24th on Nov. 19.
Appalachian State, also ranked 20th in both Associated Press Top 25 and 22nd in Amway Coaches powered by USA Today Sports Top 25 polls this week, stands as the first team in Sun Belt history to be ranked in the three major NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision Rankings.
