NEW ORLEANS - The 2019-20 Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field specialty awards and all-conference teams, as voted on by the league’s head coaches, were announced on Thursday.
On the men’s side, UT Arlington senior Justin Domangue was named the Men's Most Outstanding Track Performer, Louisiana junior Chandler Mixon was named the Men's Most Outstanding Field Performer, UTA’s Ismael Kone was named Men's Freshman of the Year and Bryson DeBerry was named Newcomer of the Year.
At the 2020 Sun Belt Indoor Track and Field Championship, Domangue was the meet's top meet scorer (26 points) claiming the title in the men's 3,000-meters and finishing second in both the mile and 5,000-meters.
