League Two side Mansfield Town have signed defender Will Forrester on loan from Stoke City until 9 January.
The 20-year-old, who can play in the centre or right of defence, scored on his senior debut at Bournemouth on the final day of last season.
Forrester is recovering from an ankle injury but should return in two weeks.
"As soon as I heard of Mansfield's interest, my mind was made up. They were my first choice of club who I wanted to go on loan to," he said.
