Goalkeeper Lee Grant will seal a permanent move to Stoke after Derby County accepted a deal worth £1.5million plus £750,000 in potential add-ons.
The agreement brings to an end weeks of haggling over price, with Derby initially demanding more than £4m for a 33-year-old player out of contract at the end of the season.
Stoke came in at a lower price and looked at other options with Jack Butland out for much of the campaign, but Mark Hughes always hoped a deal could be concluded for Grant given his impressive displays.

Derby had offered Grant around for free in the summer after Nigel Pearson took over but have now secured a significant fee.
