Stoke 0-2 Wolves: Helder Costa and Matt Doherty help Paul Lambert's side cause an FA Cup shock

Wolves secured their first FA Cup victory in five years after winning the Staffordshire derby with Stoke City.

Goals from Helder Costa and Matt Doherty gave Paul Lambert’s Championship side an unlikely win after Stoke sent out a very strong team.

Paul Lambert gambled with his selection, even bringing on a 16-year-old debutant in Morgan Gibbs-White for the final half an hour – a player whose name did not even appear on the matchday programme – but despite some second-half hroics from goalkeeper Carl Ikeme, Wolves deserved their win.
