Stoke manager Mark Robins said his team scored "three outstanding goals" as they moved into second in the Championship with a 3-0 win at Oxford United.
"We were really good," Robins told BBC Radio Stoke. "Coming to a place like this, you want to try to kill what they do, and you hear everybody talking about how difficult they are to play against.
"To come here on an evening like this you have to be really tuned in, and really focused, and the players were that from start to finish. There was no little quality, there was loads and loads of determination and effort.
