It'll be a week of anticipation for Stanford football as one of their top cornerback targets of the Class of 2016 has set his announcement date for Friday, August 14th at his high school.
Four-star Rancho Cucamonga (CA) Etiwanda defensive back Treyjohn Butler will make his choice between Stanford, Cal, Arizona State and Stanford.
Most recruiting sites have Butler as a heavy Stanford lean, so the next five days may not be as anxious for head coach David Shaw and the coaching staff as it would be otherwise.
Butler is ranked as the #20 cornerback in the Class of 2016 by 247Sports' Composite Rankings system. He holds eight official offers altogether.
